Tamil Nadu must be administered a shock treatment to help them come out of this insanity. It is the need of the hour. We cannot expect the impotent Congress party-led UPA government to do anything. One remedy for this illness now is the cricket board.
The Board for Control of Cricket in India has allowed politicians to hijack the game. (Actually, BCCI itself has been hijacked by politicians!) Today, J Jayalalithaa ensured that Sri Lankans cricketers would not be allowed to play in the IPL matches in Chennai. Immediately, Indian Premier League decided to drop the Sri Lankans from matches that would be held in Chennai.
This was a disgusting step by the IPL.
The political one-upmanship in Tamil Nadu is hurting India like never before.
These alleged Eelam lovers really are actually hurting the poor Tamils residing in Sri Lanka.
The hobbled government at the Centre has abdicated its responsibilities a long, long time ago. It is too spineless to do anything about a state which has abdicated its law and order responsibilities.
Tamil Nadu is going down the drain if not outright into the gutter, thanks to these Dravidian politicians. If one sees the posts on various social media sites or even in the comments section of various news sites, the pro-Sri Lankan Tamil activists are using harsh language against everyone who does not toe their line.
They are calling every north Indian Brahmins and every other Indian “Hindians”. Their campaign is reminiscent of the movement against Hindi of yesteryears.
They are oozing out hate. Just as the world’s most terrorist Prabhakaran did against civilians in Sri Lanka and India.
Give them a gun, I am sure they will go out a shoot anyone they think is an “Hindian”.
On TV channels too, they have exhibited their hate for India and Hindians.
Some of them even want to secede from India and join hands with their Tamil “brothers” in Sri Lanka to create their own Tamil homeland, the Eelam.
Most of these commentators appear to be young students. Apparently, they have been brainwashed by the politicians.
Don’t be surprised if, in a few days, you will see suicides for the cause of Eelam.
The students are easy cannon fodder for the politicians. And it is not in Tamil Nadu alone. Even in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, pro-Telangana politicians have used them for their devious purposes. Many students have committed suicide for the so-called dream of Telangana.
Such shameless politicians, whether in Tamil Nadu or in Andhra Pradesh, are just plain evil people.
Do I blame the students? No. The poor guys have been brainwashed to such an extent that they are no longer thinking human beings, but robots programmed for self-destruction.
The unfortunate part is that they might also cause destruction against others while on the way to their own self-destruction.

Like all other Indians — despite these Tamil protagonists claiming they are the progeny of a different “God” — people in Tamil Nadu, including the warring politicians, are cricket crazy.
All the IPL matches in Chennai must be cancelled and shifted to other venues outside this currently volatile southern state.
However, I have my doubts. BCCI chief is N Srinivasan, who hails from Chennai, is an industrialist and owner of India Cements. He will never sacrifice his business interests for the greater national cause. He is also the owner of an IPL team, Chennai Super Kings.
(An aside, an IPL team owned by DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi’s grand-nephew has two Sri Lankans, including the captain. This was disclosed by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa herself to expose the DMK’s duplicity. Read about it here)
